Bonus
Formula : (total minimum monthly balance [Jan - Dec for the last 10 years]) x bonus / 120
Let’s say you invest $100 every month from 0, and bonus for that year is 1%, the bonus will be…
(100+200+300+400+500+600+700+800+900+1000+1100+1200) x 0.01 / 120= 0.65
So if ASB announce dividend=8% and bonus=1%, don’t say the total is 9%, which is not correct.
